July 19th - 25th

Vats
Sunday Candy
Janet
(nameless new band)
at Foam
Vats is a super scintillating post-punk sensation from Seattle. Heavy on the fuzz over the thick bass lines, Vats brings a raw punch into their doom and gloom post punk sound. Highly recommend if you enjoy having nightmares.

Wednesday, July 20th
Swear Beam Record Release
Swear Beam
Bug Chaser
Posture
at Off Broadway - FREE
When Swear Beam came together, I thought this super-group was going to be too good to be true. Thank god I was wrong. It is true, Swear Beam is fucking awesome. Now it is finally time for the release of their debut self-titled album. Buy it.

Saturday, July 23rd
Du Du Fest
Pinkwash
0%
The Monoliths
Posture
Lars
No Aloha
at Blank Space - $7
Woah this is a lot. Thanks to the Durham kids and that Lumpy guy, we got ourselves a mini-fest of some sorts. Pinkwash, you remember them, punishing noise punks from Philly. 0% and The Monoliths, two punk groups from fucking Denmark. Plus three locals This is only 7 doll hairs. Jesus.

If you missed these two bands the last time they were in town, this is your chance to redeem yourself for the mistakes you have made. Tunic is a heavy noise punk trio from Winnipeg. You remember them from blowing the roof off at the Hardbody/Skin Tags release show. Constant Insult was just here last month, but they are back and are real fun rock 'n' roll.

Monday, July 25th
Brush Your Teeth
Dogbreth
Drawing Water
Falsetto Boys
Sunday Candy
at Foam - $5-$7
They're back and better than ever. Dogbreth is a pop rock band from Phoenix that recently relocated to Seattle. Even though they moved away from the desert, their music still provides that sunny smile sound that warms your heart.
