The new tape entitled 405 Skies is being put on by Columbia, Missouri's own Dismal Niche who has put out some favorite tapes of mine including the newest Hylidae release and stuff from Nevada Greene, who is also playing this show. With Infinite Mario playing and Jake Leech DJing inbetween sets, it looks like a spectacular CoMo show in the STL.

Night of Duos is a project that pits two experimental acts from St. Louis together for a one-time only improvised set. This edition features Sam Clapp of Strong Force, The Brainstems & Sun Bros. with Chad Hickman of Kingston Family Singers. Local activist and music documentarian Stephen Houldsworth and Sean Ballard of Hardbody, Fragile Farm & Double God. Also Ben S. of Beauty Pageant and Patrick Weston formerly of Ou Ou.

One of the many projects of Bob Bucko, Veneral Crush is an improvised ambient drone group from Dubuque, Iowa. Bucko has played St. Louis many times and has yet to disappoint, making each return more and more exciting.

Loud, brash, egotistical are three words to describe PA punk band Burp! Joining them is Bloomington, Indiana's Laffing Gas, which sounds like the audial manifestation of playing in the mud and Indianapolis' hardcore punk group Fine Young Casuals that sounds like four dudes slamming around violently.

Single Player is the one-man lo-fi rock project of Sam Neumann. Hailing from Champaign, Illinois, Single Player just put out a split with Nectar on Rat King Records. If you like hip-swaying pop tunes, you're in for a treat.
