Mike Herr

Lard Boys are a hardcore punk group from Minneapolis. They sound exactly how their name states. Thick and heavy. With the Lumpy stamp of approval, should be an excellent show. Also the Night Owl looks like a nice place, so try not to fuck it up.

Big Apple Fuzz Boys
The Mad Doctors
Soda Ghost
The Young Eyes
Beach Bodies
at Foam - $5
We got some fuzzy rock 'n rollers in the house. Simple, fast, catchy garage rock and with some real shredding. But this band not afraid to get a little groovy at times. I've never seen doctors rock this hard.

Monday, May 2nd
Monday Night Raw
Hank Wood & the Hammerheads
Q
Black Panties
Mala Leche
NSOD
at Bonerville
I love pro wrestling and Monday Night Raw is in St. Louis on the same day, but I will not be attending that. That's how good Hank Wood & the Hammerheads are. These New York-based punks make a really unique, percussion heavy brand of punk rock that is not to be missed.

Raw is War
Gnary Davidson
Van Buren
Staghorn
at San Loo - $5
If rock bands could get married, Gnarly Davidson would be married to Shitstorm. The Gnarly boys have played here numerous times and destroy every time. I hear they've got some new tunes that will blow your socks off.

My Favorite Band
Tacocat
Boyfriends
Bruiser Queen

Tacocat is surf punk band from Seattle that has been one of my favorite bands for the last couple of years. Their songs are incredibly catchy and their lyrics are witty and passive aggressive while remaining uptempo and positive in their delivery. I highly recommend this show and this band.

The Chicago-based synth pop group Wingtips is a band I have been very high on since seeing them last Summer at Melt. They have some infectious new wave dance tunes that will get your feet moving. If you have an illness, I think their music will Cure it.

Thursday, April 14th
at San Loo - $7
Veteran punk rock outfit Clorox Girls is coming to St. Louis, which is cool because I didn't think they were a thing anymore. Maybe i'm just an idiot. Either way, Clorox Girls is a true throwback to the good ole fun punk rock we love so much.

DJs ~*DERAM CONTROL*~
at Foam
Electro-goth house duo Body of Light comes from Tempe, Arizona. Despite coming from the bright, hot deserts of Arizona, Body of Light has cold, dark tone in their uptempo electronic music. They are joined by High-Functioning Flesh, an electro-punk duo from Los Angeles. DANCE IN THE DARK!

Pop Rock-Pa-Looza
Weatherbox
Enemies

The band Weatherbox is the brain-child of Brian Warren. Since 2005, Warren and friends have been pumping out the indie rock jams and they were probably in your MySpace top 8.
Enemies is a band I have been jamming for years. Hailing from Ireland, this experimental mathpop group with have you dancing Kevin Bacon-style.

The people of St. Louis are very familiar with the boys in New England Patriots. This group has come to the Gateway City a few times in the past and have left us in awe. For those unfamiliar, NEP is a experimental noise rock band from New England. Chaotic energy, rapid power and sporadic glitches. This show will be hot, sweaty and packed. Show up on time.
