Freaks from Santa Rosa
Acrylics
Brain Transplant
The Bubbleheads
Catholic Guilt

Acrylics is a freak punk band out of Santa Rosa, California with a sound straight from another planet. The noise rock and post-punk influences in their sound make them a true gem With a flair for the absurd, Acrylics will have your stomach twisting and your brain melting.

Wednesday, March 2nd
Way Out WEIRDO Wednesday #6
Stone Hen
Haiku
3 of 5
Zagk Gibbons
Joe Stein
at Way Out Club - FREE, 21+
The 6th installment of Way Out Weirdo may have the best line-up in the series so far. An eclectic blend on St. Louis experimental, every inch of your weirdo heart will be touched on this night.

Thursday, March 3rd
The Return of Mr. Clit
Mr. Clit & the Pink Cigarettes
Boreal Hills
Babe Lords
at Foam - $5
I saw this band last summer and they do not disappoint.  These circus side-show punks from Indianapolis bring carny energy to their music. Seeing Mr. Clit & The Pink Cigarettes is a lot like being at a real circus. You know a lot of what you're getting into isn't safe, but you love every minute of it.

This is NOT a Hardbody Show
Skin Tags
Hess/Cunningham Duo
Fragile Farm
at Schlalfy Tap Room - FREE
Six familiar faces that have played many shows together put on one unlike the rest. We all know and love Skin Tags and Hardbody and after releasing a split 7" together, these groups will be forever linked. But this isn't another Skin Tags/Hardbody show. Instead you will get the top-tier intense punk sound of Skin Tags but you will see another side of the Hard-boys. Hess/Cunningham Duo is the experimental free jazz/avante garde side project of 2/3rds of Hardbody while Fragile Farm is the freak folk solo project of the other 3rd of the math rock trio. I'm hard.

Friday, March 4th
LAB: The Brainstems
The Brainstems
Demonlover
Soda Boys
at The Luminary - $5
The LAB series at The Luminary is back to celebrate St. Louis garage rockers The Brainstems. A band that started as a Ty Segall cover band has blossomed into one of South Cities brightest acts. They will be playing two sets, one of all originals and a second of covers, to go back their roots as a band.

Saturday, March 5th
HEAVY HORSE LAST SHOW
Heavy Horse
Laika
Path of Might
Mariner
at Dugan Haus - FREE
Come say goodbye to one of St. Louis' heaviest and punishing post-hardcore/doom metal acts Heavy Horse. I hear there will be plenty of beer to drown your sorrows. No one can see you cry if you head-bang hard enough.

Sunday, March 6th
Cincy Koot Kats
Bummers Eve
Lil' Toughies
Shitstorm
Soda Boys
at Foam - $6
Bummers Eve is a lo-fi garage punk from good ole Cincinnati, Ohio that goes heavy on the reverb that brings out the power in their sling-shot riffs. Lil' Toughies is a glitchy drum machine-powered synch punk group from the Kansas City. Would you expect anything less from the 913?
