LOCAL KIDS MAKE GOOD
Bridled Spells
Demonlover
Strong Force
Marble/Wall Duo
at CBGB - FREE
Boy oh boy, what an eclectic show of some of my favorite local acts. Improv jazz, folk, experimental pop and a new project with Geoff Naunheim. He has been in good bands before, history says this will be good too. Also Strong Force is going to be a 5-piece? I dare you to miss that.

Saturday, February 13th
Acid Kat 4th Birthday Bash
The Cowboys
Wray
Dem Scientist (last show)
Soda Boys
at Foam - $5
Those god damn Acid Kat boys have been around for four years now, peddling their smut. They are throwing a birthday party that you are invited too. It feautres two great bands, one from Indiana and one from Alabama, a STL band's last show and 7" release of another.

Sunday, February 14th
Valentine's Day Garage Ripper
The Minotaurs
Ryan Markovich
Bucko Toby
at Foam - $5
What better way to spend your Valentine's Day than with Madison-based garage freaks The Minotaurs. They have slammed around these parts before and they reckon to do it again.

Galentine's Day Dance
Leggy
Skin Tags
Town Cars
Drag
Sunday Candy
Tramp-O-Rama
at Bonerville
Come hang with your favorite femme punks on Valentine's Day. All of these bands have baddest women, including Cincinnati-based Leggy who we have covered on this very blog before. They got a new tape coming out through Manic Static, so you know it's legit.
