(I am not sure if Athen, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky are consider in the Appalachian, but who care? This isn't Geography class.)

One of the coolest events happening. This is a collaboration of St. Louis artists and new immigrants to America to showcase are and music from many different cultures. The collaborate for this installment of the clotheslines is The Texas Room, an STL-based free recording studio for immigrants and refugees musicians.

The first event brought in over $1,200 and this one aims to bring in more. Make sure to snag a poster made my Curtis Tinsley. Proceeds from poster sales also goes to International Institute St. Louis and The Organization for Black Struggle.
