For better or for worse, health insurance is a basic necessity in our society. Young people and people of marginalized identities (low-income people, queer & trans people, poc, people with disabilities, etc) often have more trouble accessing and using insurance than the dominant population. This event will be a basic training on the benefits of health insurance, how to get it through Obamacare, and how to use it once you have it, with plenty of time for questions at the end. I hope to empower attendees to feel more comfortable using the health care system and to spread that confidence to others in their community.

The Bubbleheads
Lo-fi garage rockers Louie Louie is new band featuring Emily Robb of Latern will be playing at CBGB with brand new punk super group The Bubbleheads and some guy in a yellow suit name with who hired men to be his friend. Cal & the Calories is what they like to call themselves.

Multicult is a grungy-noise rock trio out of Baltimore that has been putting out of the best noise rock in the Northeast for a little over 5 years. They will be playing with Complainer. Remember Spelling Bee? Well, they got really sad apparently and they have a new, darker sound. Also playing is Double God, a very minimalist yet experimental duo featuring Sean Ballard of Hardbody & Stonechat and Jake Mideke of Laika, Jr. Clooney & Staghorn.
