October 27th - November 2nd

Tuesday, October 27th
at Foam - $8
Memphis makes some good fucking punk rock and Ex-Cult may be the kings of punk down there. They are back in St. Louis and will be slinging that Tennessee flair. Check them out and super bouncy Bubbleheads from an alleyway near you.

Thursday, October 29th
at The Billiken Club - $5
Based out of St. Louis, American Wrestlers is one of the hottest indie rock bands around right now after their self-released debut album was snagged up by Fat Possum Records and pushed their music to the forefront. Joining them is Fragile Farm, lo-fi solo project of local miscreant, Sean Ballard.

Freezer Bum
BBQ Boys
Dracla
at Schlafly Tap Room - FREE
Freezer Bum is the odd duo of Joseph Hess of Hardbody and Mr. Ben of Beauty Pageant. And you can see that for free. That and other oddball acts from this weird area we live in.

Friday, October 30th
Lars
at Livery - $5
Cretins is a hardcore/punk from Richmond, VA that knows how to slam with the best of them. Heavy riffs and unrelenting vocals that mend well with the simple yet pounding of the drums. The pit will be crazy at this one. Also, in their picture on Bandcamp, two of the members are wearing Agnostic Front shirts, so you know they rip hard. With Soda Boys, bring a raincoat. With Lars, bring an extra pair of pants.

Ish
at Schlafly Tap Room - FREE
"You can't judge a book by it's cover" was originally said about the Schalfly Tap Room. It does not look like a place where you can find some of the best music around FOR FREE. The night before Halloween will not be an exception. Garage rockers, indie poppers and mozzarella sticks.

Saturday, October 31st
cover sets by:
Hylidae & Larva
and more
at Blank Space - $5
It's Halloween, you idiot. Amazing bands doing cover sets of other awesome bands. Plus, Strangled is a great noisy punk band out of Edmonton will be in town for the last show of their tour with local favorites Veil.

Brain Transplant
After SS
Slave Cable
at Foam - $1
Acid Kat and Freezerburn, two fantastic zine publishers are coming together to put together a massive Halloween show will some of the best weirdo, experimental noise acts around. Oh yeah, and it will cost you only ONE FUCKING DOLLAR!

Sunday, November 1st
Spencer Radcliffe
at The Firebird - $15
Alex G is one of the brightest stars in indie rock. He has been called a musical genius by some, and super dope by others. Not to be confused with cover artist Alex G on Youtube who, for some reason, has way more internet attention. Find the Sandy one. That's what you want.
