Burners is a brand new punk band featuring members of Posture, Q, Dem Scientist and Nos Bos.  The Brainstems are lo-fi garage rippers that are about to take the world by storm. Two free jazz legends from two different eras are coming together in St. Louis for the first show of NMC season.  Evan Parker is known all over the world and back for his incredible work with a saxophone.  At 71 years young, Parker is still going and collaborating with some of the best up-and-coming free jazz musicians.
Peter Evans is a improvisational trumpeter/composer from New York City that since 2003, has been recording some of the best in free jazz of the last 12 years.  He has collaborated with names like Zach Hill and Nate Wooley and a regular collaborator of Evans says "Peter can do anything!"

Brand new experimental rockers Staghorn embarks on their first tour. But first, the hometown kiddos need to get their hands on the new record before anyone else. Therefore the tour kickoff and release show are the same show. Staghorn hits the road with silky smooth indie rockers from St. Louis, Jr. Clooney and heavy rippers Holy Gallows from Nashville.

his year marks the 10th Annual Grove Fest – St. Louis’ highly anticipated and outrageously eclectic street festival. Presented by the Grove Community Improvement District and Urban Chestnut Brewing Company, Grove Fest is celebrating 10 years of debauchery on Saturday, October 3rd between 2:00pm and 10:00pm.
