March 29th - April 4th

Tuesday, March 29th
at The Luminary - $17
Ground-breaking hip-hop artist and life of the party Le1f brings their high-energy, bombastic early-2000s era hip-hop to The Lou.

at Foam - $7
Hailing from Bloomington, Indiana, Jefferson Street Parade Band is a full marching band with serious soul. Blending sounds of funk, soul, jazz and West Africa, JSPB is a true original and not to be missed. Also it will be quite the spectacle watching all of them try and fit into Foam. I'm predicting the roof gets blown off.

Wednesday, March 30th
at Blank Space - $10
Sheer Mag is a blistering punk rock band from Philly. Some sultry blues rock riffs behind the bellowing vocals and can't-stop, won't-stop attitude. This band might take over the world, if we aren't careful. Laffing Gas is loud, fast, fast and loud. Bloomington is bringing their A game to St. Louis this week.

at Foam - $10
Mamiffer is a duo ambient/drone noise project out of Seattle that sounds like sliding slowly through a black hole. John Mueller is a solo percussionist extraordinary who brings new life to the sound of percussion instruments.

Thursday, March 31st
The Brothers Clapp
at Schlafly Tap Room - FREE
Jeff Kolar is a sound artist from Chicago who specializes in minimalistic sounds in a large yet short-lived time frame. He is an accomplished artist who has crafted a unique style that is hard to duplicate.

Saturday, April 2nd

Sunday, April 3rd
You Go Glen Coco
Mean Girls
Double God
Witchy
Dog Hips
at Dugan Haus - $5
Mean Girls is a Austin-based pop-punk/emo band full of dancy jams that are also kind of sad. Because everyone loves to show off their dance moves while crying their eyes out. This show features a lot of rad bands with rad women and non-binary folks (except Double God, fuck Double God)
EDIT: Chelsi Webster of WHSKY GNGR fame is officially in Double God now. Though she is a rad woman, I do not take back my statements on Double God. Fuck Double God.

Monday, April 4th
at Bonerville - $5
Daisy Chains is psychedelic country/pop trio featuring members of The Miami Dolphins and Solid Attitude. If that sentence alone doesn't get you excited, you need to be checked by a doctor.

at Foam
Au Revoir is a post-rock/metal band from New Jersey. Their newest release, Veles, just dropped and it's one of the best new releases I have heard this year. Check 'em out before they are playing in front of 900 billion people.
