Side-mullet queen Cameron Esposito is a very funny woman who has really gained popularity in the last couple of years. You may have seen her on Conan, Carson Daly or the "Ask a Lesbian" videos on Buzzfeed, which she goes with fellow comedian/fiancee Rhea Buther. She also hosts two podcasts and released her first album Same Sex Symbol in 2014.

One of the best bands I have ever heard is back. Avant rock kings Ahlecuchatistas are back after blowing many minds at Tu-Fest in September. Joining them is two of the most insane bands in St. Louis, making this a show not-to-be-missed.

New Music Circle presents composure, performer and visual artist Charlemagne Palestine. Even at the age of 70, Palestine is still growing as an artist and putting on phenomenal shows.

Based out of St. Louis, American Wrestlers is one of the hottest indie rock bands around right now after their self-released debut album was snagged up by Fat Possum Records and pushed their music to the forefront. Joining them is Fragile Farm, lo-fi solo project of local miscreant, Sean Ballard.

Cretins is a hardcore/punk from Richmond, VA that knows how to slam with the best of them. Heavy riffs and unrelenting vocals that mend well with the simple yet pounding of the drums. The pit will be crazy at this one. Also, in their picture on Bandcamp, two of the members are wearing Agnostic Front shirts, so you know they rip hard. With Soda Boys, bring a raincoat. With Lars, bring an extra pair of pants.

Upsilon Acrux is an experimental, heavy-on-percussion, jazzy math outfit out of Los Angeles. Nicoffeine is an experimental noise rock group out of Germany that combines glitchy sounds and raw power. They are joined by STL math rockers Yowie and Hardbody. (Don't let the flyer fool ya, they are two different bands)

Two free jazz legends from two different eras are coming together in St. Louis for the first show of NMC season.  Evan Parker is known all over the world and back for his incredible work with a saxophone.  At 71 years young, Parker is still going and collaborating with some of the best up-and-coming free jazz musicians.
Peter Evans is a improvisational trumpeter/composer from New York City that since 2003, has been recording some of the best in free jazz of the last 12 years.  He has collaborated with names like Zach Hill and Nate Wooley and a regular collaborator of Evans says "Peter can do anything!"
